Dr. Elizabeth Fulmer Eakes grew up in Simpsonville, SC. After attending Mauldin High School, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University where she graduated summa cum laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She completed her dental degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, graduating first in her class. She joined Fulmer Orthodontics in July 2014 and is currently pursuing her board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Eakes and her husband Devin were married in Charleston in 2010 and have an adoring springer spaniel named Annie. They recently welcomed their first child and are loving their new roles as parents.  Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys baking, photography, shopping, exploring good places to eat, and traveling.
