Hometown Treatment

1987-photoIn 1987, Dr. Fulmer moved into a little white house on Main Street in Fountain Inn after graduating from orthodontic residency in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Shirley and his two and a half year old daughter Elizabeth. He decided to set up his practice in Mauldin, which he saw as an ideal location to serve the communities of Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Greenville, and his hometown of Simpsonville. He envisioned a practice that would allow him to create beautiful smiles while nurturing relationships with patients in his community. With a gentle touch and kind words, Dr. Fulmer invests his time into each patient to meet their needs at each visit. His genuinely caring personality makes patients feel comfortable in the office. Through the years, patients have returned to entrust Dr. Fulmer with their children (and even grandchildren!) for their orthodontic needs. He is also honored when many area dental professionals, their spouses, children, and staff members come to him for treatment as well as when patients refer their friends and loved ones for orthodontic care. These are the highest compliments we can receive!

Dr. Fulmer’s daughter Elizabeth worked in the office throughout high school and college, first doing clerical work and then working in the clinical area. She thereby observed the first class treatment her father gave to each of his patients and love he invested back into the practice. Dr. Eakes returned to her hometown after finishing her residency to aspire to her father’s legacy of quality orthodontic care with gentleness and kindness.

Simply put, Dr. Fulmer and Dr. Eakes strive to treat all of their patients as if they were part of their own family. We hope you will give us the privilege to care for your smile.
